DAY 2 Zhangjiajie

After hotel breakfast, drive to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Ascend Yuanjiajie Scenic Area by Bailong Elevator - a world famous glass elevator built into the side of the mountain. On the summit, spend 2 hours seeing the Hallelujah Mountains, the Platform of Forgetfulness, the No. 1 Bridge under Heaven, and other famous attractions. Afternoon, climb up the Tianzi Mountain to visit Helong Park, the West Sea Scenic Area and so on. Later, take a cable car down the mountain to have a walk along the picturesque Ten Mile Natural Gallery (mini train is optional).

Activities for today: Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon (with Glass Bridge), Baofeng Lake
After breakfast, drive to explore the attractive Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, which is known as the landform museum of Zhangjiajie. One of the highlights in your canyon exploration is a challenging walk on the most terrifying glass bridge in the world - Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge. Afternoon proceed to Baofeng Lake to enjoy a wonderful cruise and the local ethnic songs.

DAY 4 Zhangjiajie

Activities for today: Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park
Drive to Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, where you will experience a ride on the world's longest cable car up to the summit of the Tianmen Mountain. Upon at the summit, taking a hike along the plank road on the cliffs. During the hiking, you can choose to experience the glass skywalk built along a cliff (RMB 5). After hiking, visit the Tiammen Temple and take the cable cars back to the cable car middle station. Later, take a bus along the Heaven-linking Avenue (a famous mountain-winding highway in the world) to see the Tianmen Gate.

DAY 5 Zhangjiajie/Anshun

This morning, our driver will escort you to Zhangjiajie Train Station for the train to Anshun city of Guizhou province. Upon arrival at Anshun Train Station, you are met and transferred to your hotel check in.

Morning, drive to visit Dragon Palace (including ship, elevator and shuttle bus). Highlights include Tianchi Lake, Dragon Gate Fall (waterfall), Rape Lake, the Whirlpool, the Leech Pass and the Dragon Palace itself.
Afternoon, transfer to explore Huangguoshu Waterfall and Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area (including elevator and shuttle bus). Attractions include Water Curtain Cave, Rhinoceros Pool, Waterfall Viewing Pavilion, Sky Star Cave, Sky Star Basin, Doupotang Waterfall, Over Water Stone Forest, Silver Pendant Pool Waterfall and so on.

DAY 7 Anshun/Guiyang/Exit

Activities for today: Denon Tunbu Ancient Town, airport/train station transfer
Visit Denon Tunbu Ancient Town (Tianlongtunbu)to see the well-preserved traditions and architecture of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 A.D.). Then drive about 1 hour to Guiyang to connect your flight or train to your next destination.

According to records, when Zhu Yuan Zhang, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty deployed troops from the north to guard the southern regions, troops stationed here were from the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions of the Han ethnic group, and it was renamed “Denon Tunbu” by Confucian scholars. People are descendants of the troops stationed during the Ming Dynasty. Stone houses are a major feature of Denon Tunbu and many people can be seen wearing Ming Dynasty-style garments and selling them as handicrafts. The local old people live their lives in peace.
