Spend another full day exploring Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. You will ascend the Yuanjiajie Mountain by the famous Bailong Elevator. On the summit of the mountain, you will see the Southern Sky Column - the prototype of the "Hallelujah Mountains" in Avatar. Later, visit Tianzi Mountain (including cable car) and Ten Mile Natural Gallery (mini-train is optional, RMB 76/pp for round trip).

DAY 4 Zhangjiajie / Xian

Activities for today: Baofeng Lake, Tianmen Mountain. Airport Transfer
Morning drive to visit Baofeng Lake by boat. Afternoon proceed to visit Tianmen Mountain, take the world's longest cable car up to the summit of the mountain. Tour the Biyeyaotai Scenic Area, walk along the plank road built along a cliff. Have a bird's eye view of the "road to the Sky" - The road was built spiral along the high mountains and has 99 bents, looks awesome beautiful; walk up along the "steps to the heaven" and then go through a huge hole - "the gate of heaven". Transfer to the airport and fly to Xian.

After hotel breakfast, you are escorted to Xi'an North Train Station for the high speed train to Luoyang. Upon arrival, our representatives in Luoyang will meet you and take you to visit Longmen Grottoes and the Chariot and Horse Pits.
-Longmen Grottoes
The grottoes and niches in Longmen Grottoes (aka Longmen Caves) contain the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese art of the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties (316-907). These works, entirely devoted to the Buddhist religion, represent the high point of Chinese stone carving. In 2000 the site was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List as "an outstanding manifestation of human artistic creativity," for its perfection of an art form, and for its encapsulation of the cultural sophistication of Tang China.
-Museum of Chariot and Horse Pits of Eastern Zhou Dynasty
Chariot and horse pits are sacrificial tombs from the Western Zhou Dynasty (1046–771 BC). They are also tombs of noble families from the Zheng State, a vassal state during the Spring and Autumn (770–476 BC) and Warring States (475–221 BC) periods. The museum displays two of the 17 carriage and horse sacrificial pits excavated in 2002 and 2003. It also features a huge statue of six rearing horses.
