On arrival at Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport, your airport transfer takes you to your tour hotel at Wulingyuan Scenic Area, where the remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Activities for today: Yellow Stone Village, Golden Whip Stream
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a cable car to Yellow Stone Village and be taken on a 2-hour hike on the mountain. After lunch at a local Chinese restaurant, enjoy a 2.5-hour leisure walking along the Golden Whip Stream, where is most likely to bring you into the Pandora's wonderland of the movie Avatar. Take the eco-friendly tourist car down the mountain and drive back to your hotel.

DAY 3 Zhangjiajie

Activities for today: Yuanjiajie Mountain, Bailong Elevator, Tianzi Mountain (one-way cable car), Ten-mile Natural Gallery
Another full day to explore the beautiful Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, we will ascend the Yuanjiajie Mountain by the Bailong Elevator - a glass elevator built into the side of the mountain. On the summit, you will take about 2.5 hours to walk to discover the Pillar of the Southern Sky. It was used to inspiration for the famous "Hallelujah Mountains" seen in the Blockbuster movie, Avatar. Proceed to the platform of Forgetfulness to enjoy the nearby peak views and then walk across the No. 1 Bridge under Heaven. After lunch, transfer to climb up the Tianzi Mountain to enjoy its amazing tourist spots. Then take a cable car down the mountain and go on sightseeing along the dreamlike Fairyland – Ten-mile Natural Gallery. Take the eco-friendly tourist car to the Wulingyuan Ticket Office and drive back to your hotel.

DAY 4 Zhangjiajie

Activities for today: Yellow Dragon Cave, Baofeng Lake
Morning drive to explore in the fantastic underground cave - Yellow Dragon Cave (about 2 hours). Then spend 2.5 hours to visit the beautiful Baofeng Lake, where a wonderful short cruise is included to see some special scenic spots.

DAY 5 Zhangjiajie

Activities for today: Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park
Spend the whole day to explore the Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. We will experience a ride on the world's longest cable car up to the summit of the Tianmen Mountain, taking in the spectacular scenery as you do so. Once at the summit take a hike (approximately 2 hours) on the plank road alongside the Guigu Cliffs. During the hiking, you can choose to experience the glass skywalk built along a cliff with an extra expense (RMB5/pp). After the hiking, you will pay a visit to the Tiammen Temple and some other famous scenic spots, then take the Forest Sightseeing cable car and back to the Tianmen Mountain cable car station and take the big cable car up to the middle station. Take a bus along the Heaven-linking Avenue (a famous mountain-winding highway in the world) to explore the Tianmen Cave. After sightseeing, drive to your hotel in Zhangjiajie city.

DAY 6 Zhangjiajie/Fenghuang

Activities for today: Drive to Fenghuang, Fenghuang Old Town
Drive to Fenghuang Old Town. We will take about 3.5 hours to experience this historic and cultural town of Miao people. The tourist sites and activities will include former residences of celebrities, temples, museums, stilted buildings, old streets walking, and a short rafting in the Tuo River, etc.

DAY 7 Fenghuang/Changsha

Activities for today: Drive to Changsha, Orange Island, airport transfer
Drive to Changsha. Pay a visit to the famous Juzizhou Islet (aka Orange Island). It is believed to be the largest inland islet in the world and is now a popular site for summer relaxing in Changsha. Mao Zedong, the founder of PRC once enjoyed swimming here when he studied in Changsha. Conclude the trip with a transfer to the airport.
