  This unique museum, closed on Mondays, houses an incredible collection of bamboo slips dating back to the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC - 8 AD) and Three Kingdoms Period (220-280 AD). It is the first of its kind in China, dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of ancient bamboo and wooden slips.   Today's journey takes us to Shaoshan, the birthplace of a legendary figure, Chairman Mao ZeDong (1893 -1976). We'll step back in time as we visit his former residence, an humble countryside house built with clay and wood, carefully preserved with the furniture arranged as it was during his lifetime.
  
  Next, we'll arrive at the Statue of Mao Zedong Square, located in the heart of Mao Zedong Memorial Hall. Surrounded by pine and bamboo trees, with the protection of arching mountains, you'll find a tall bronze statue depicting a robust yet smiling and meditative leader, capturing the essence of his leadership.
  
  Our cultural exploration continues with a visit to the Mao Cultural Hall, a shrine built in the mid-Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911). This hall served as a place of ancestor worship for the Mao family and holds deep historical significance.
  
  As we depart Shaoshan, we'll make our way to the enchanting Fenghuang Ancient City (Phoenix Ancient City), nestled in the XiangXi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.   Get ready for a day of thrilling adventures and breathtaking sights! After a delicious breakfast, we'll ascend to new heights as we take the world's longest cable car ride up to the summit of Tianmen Mountain.
  
  There, you'll embark on a thrilling 1.5-hour hike along a plank road that winds along the cliffs. Test your courage on the famous glass sky walk, offering a bird's-eye view of the valley below.
  
  As we continue our exploration, we'll visit the sacred Tiammen Temple and take a return trip on the Forest Sightseeing cable car, soaking in the lush greenery. We'll then descend to the middle station via cable car and embark on a bus journey along the renowned Heaven-linking Avenue, a mountain-winding highway that will leave you in awe.
  
  The highlight of our day awaits as we approach the iconic Tianmen Gate, a natural water-eroded cave with the highest elevation in the world. It's an extraordinary sight that will take your breath away.

  Once at the summit, we'll spend approximately 2.5 hours exploring the Pillar of the Southern Sky, famously known for inspiring the "Hallelujah Mountains" in the blockbuster movie, Avatar. Continue your journey to the Platform of Forgetfulness, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the nearby peaks. Walk across the awe-inspiring No. 1 Bridge under Heaven and prepare for more wonders ahead.

With a length of 5000 meters and a width of 145 meters, it is home to a thriving community of around 5000 residents.
  
  As we continue our exploration, we'll uncover another hidden gem - the Ancient Well of White Sand. Nestled west of Huilong Mountain in Changsha, this manmade well is a testament to ancient engineering. Clear and transparent water flows from the bottom, a refreshing sight that invites you to take a closer look.
