The Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport has accommodated 20 different airlines with routes to such destinations as Beijing,Guangzhou, Changsha, Shanghai, Nanjing, Tianjin, Chengdu, Xian, Qingdao,Shenyang, Hangzhou, Taipei and so on. For international travelers and visitors making short trips from far away, flying into Zhangjiajie City via these cities is a great option.
Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport is also accessible to some of Asian countries by air. Tourists from South Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam can take non-stop flight to Zhangjiajie via these cities: Busan, Seoul, Daegu, Cheongju, Muan, Osaka–Kansai, Jakarta–Soekarno–Hatta (Charter), Ho Chi Minh City (seasonal)
By Train
Trains to Zhangjiajie City can be an efficient, stress-free, and affordable way to visit and are available from throughout China. Trains are available from certain cities. These include:Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Beijing, Zhanjiang, Zhaoqing, Changsha, Huaihua, Guiyang,Kunming, Shanghai, Xian, Hangzhou, Wuxi, Nanning, Liuzhou, Guilin, Yichang and so on.
By Bus
Buses offer travelers an affordable way to visit Zhangjiajie from the around cities and counties. Buses to Zhangjiajie are particularly convenient for visitors from Changsha, Chongqing, Fenghuang, Jishou, Dongguan, as well as Zhuhai, Wuhan and Shanghai.
By Car
